FAQs
Can the Lunch Pot go in the microwave?
Yes, the Lunch Pot is microwave safe. Remove the lid before placing it in the microwave (the small frosted grey lower lid can be microwaved, but it must be unscrewed and slightly opened to allow air to escape before heating). Heat for a maximum of two minutes at a time. Stir and repeat if additional heating is needed.
Is the Lunch Pot dishwasher safe?
Yes, all parts can be placed in the top rack of the dishwasher, except for the transparent lid. The transparent lid should be washed by hand to maintain the product’s leakproof seal.
Is the Lunch Pot BPA and BPS free?
Yes, the Lunch Pot is free from BPA and BPS.
What should I do if my Lunch Pot leaks?
Check the seal to ensure it hasn’t been compressed in any spot. Remove the silicone seal and reattach it carefully, making sure it’s not pinched or squashed anywhere. To maintain a 100% leakproof seal, regularly remove the gasket, clean it thoroughly with warm soapy water, and dry it completely before reattaching. Always make sure the rim of your container is clean and dry.
How can I remove stains?
When reheating foods like tomato sauce in the microwave, stubborn stains may appear. You can remove them by applying baking soda with a damp cloth to the affected areas. It may take several applications, and the stains will fade over time. If the stains are in areas where the plastic has been scratched or cut with a knife, they cannot be completely removed but will gradually fade with continued use.
